We love to explore different places where learning can become fun. Art is one way we can express ourselves to its fullest where we can create an image. My family and I were very fortunate to see the sneak peek of the Wonder Studio at The Chrysler Museum of Art In Norfolk on July 13th.

This exhibit now open to the public, families can create there own art in an interactive experience like no other art museum before!

The Wonder Studio presents different themes based on what the Museum collection has to offer. If you are a frequent flyer of The Chrysler Museum, then you know the amazing works of art already in place. Currently, they are exploring  Human Figures. The Studio lets you reimagine what you can do with the current art collection. Make your own masterpiece from,”The Collection”. With activities ranging from digital interactions with, The Colorscape where you are able to submerge your body to dance and move with color. My two children who are at different ages loved this portion of the Wonder Studio since they were creating masterpieces with there own bodies.

Art is like a Fish Bowl.

Seeing Art is subjective to the individual. What one person sees another may see something completely different. The Artquarium does just that by giving the onlooker the visual outlook of artwork from different levels. Along with the tools and aids that help identify the areas of the Human Body. The Studio lets you reimagine what you can do with the current art collection for children of all ages.

The Wonder Studio, like The Chrysler Museum, is Free and open to the public daily. Due to the limited space entrance in the Wonder Studio will be timed and ticketed! You are able to get your tickets early online or at the welcome desk.

Do not forget to explore some of the other amazing works of Art at The Chrysler Museum.
