This time of year we have our kids driving us crazy to always be on the go with something to do, but what can you do without breaking the bank each time on their activities? For any parent, you are looking for ways to have fun for nothing or a small fee. I recently started using Groupon for my kid’s activities, and all I can say is, I love it! They have such an array of options for activities in your area. In my area of Hampton Roads, there is always something to do so Groupon is your opportunity to have fun and enjoy something you would not normally do!
Have your kid’s think of a fun activity they want to do- Groupon offers many deals for kids of all ages. For my young children, they have deals such as bowling, bounce houses, golf and many other types of activities.
Plan a day trip or short weekend trip- Groupon offers many deals for trips everywhere but if you are in a good area that offers many different things to do you may want to check it for a Staycation. They offer deals on local hotels and resorts.
Look for Family Friendly deals for Food– If your kids are foodies and like to eat you may want to look into the food section of deals. If they want to try different foods but you want to cut the cost you can save this way by getting a Groupon for a restaurant where you would not normally eat. Sometimes you can even get deals on ice cream, cupcakes, and pizza, all things kids love!
If you’re not with the kids, buy them something to do at home- if you are going to work or out with your spouse, consider getting them an activity to do at home. You will find options to buy board games, movies, and video games to keep kids busy while you were going out and planning the next their next adventure.
I recently used a Groupon while bowling with my family and friends. So many of us going we would have spent well over $100 for both of our families to enjoy this outing. By using this Groupon, both families were able to use the deal based on their family, which for my family of 4 it was $33. Had we not used it would have been almost $70. The money saved using Groupon allowed for us to get our family dinner out!!! Using Groupon is one way you can look into activities, places to eat and a vacation spot to save some money and enjoy time with your family. That’s not a half-bad deal, right?
So tell me how would you use Groupon with your family?
